Prescription Drug Take Back & Drop Box
As part of an ongoing service for safe prescription drug disposal, there is a gray mailbox which is permanently located in the Police Department’s lobby, which provides year-round accessibility.
Residents and community members are encouraged to turn in expired or unused prescription drugs as a communal effort to keep them out of the wrong hands.
The Buffalo Grove Police Department partners with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) twice a year to host the DEA sponsored Drug Take Back Day. The Drug Take Back Days occur in April and October.
