Police Records Services

Designated as the "memory" of the police department, Records provides support to the public, and the officers in a variety of ways. Some of the tasks performed by personnel are:

  • Illinois Uniform Crime (UCR) Reporting
  • Monitoring active and canceled warrants
  • Law Enforcement Agencies Data System (LEADS) management
  • Arrest report tracking, UCR verification
  • Active court case files documentation and updating
  • Data entry 
  • Digital fingerprint review and submission
  • Process Freedom of Information Act requests
  • Respond to subpoenas
  • Process fees and monies collect by the department
