Many people wonder “If I have a medical emergency and can’t get to the door, will the fire department paramedics be able to get in?”
In a medical emergency the fire department will gain entrance to your residence by whatever means necessary; this could include using axes and pry-bars to force entry through the door or break windows.
However, a quicker, and less damaging, option is to have a residential key vault available for the department to use to open your door.
