July 4th Fireworks and Symphonic Band Performance

Vicarious Fireworks StockOn Thursday, July 4, 2019, the Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band will kick off the evening with a performance beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the newly renamed and dedicated, Ernie Karge Rotary Village Green, 260 N. Buffalo Grove Road in Buffalo Grove. The fireworks display, sponsored by Siemens, will follow the band performance at dusk (approximately 9:15 p.m.) Fireworks can be viewed from the Village Green, Willow Stream Park or the Buffalo Grove Golf Course.
In what has become an almost 2-decade-long tradition, the Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band will perform Patriotic, Classical, Popular, Marches, and Broadway selections in an old-fashioned outdoor concert followed by the annual fireworks display to help everyone celebrate America’s Birthday.  One of the most popular parts of this concert is when the children in the audience get to conduct the band!  Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic basket and see why thousands of attendees every year make this performance the highlight of their Independence Day Celebration!
Parking during this busy night in the Village can present challenges: motorists who park at or near the Village Municipal Campus will NOT be permitted through the intersection of Church Street and Raupp Boulevard until pedestrians have left the area. Those hoping to leave early or immediately following the fireworks display should find an alternate place to park. Individuals attempting to exit the area via Lake Cook Road may also experience delays due to pedestrians crossing at this location following the fireworks.

The Village of Buffalo Grove would like to thank Siemens for its generous sponsorship of the July 4th fireworks display.
