Police Department Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

A pink accented squad car is highlighting the Buffalo Grove Police Department’s support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The intent of the display is to raise awareness and show support, while also remembering those who have lost their lives to this disease.

The specially designed squad car will be on display at two events this coming weekend:
• Saturday, October 9 at the Kingswood Church’s Harvest Festival, 401 Dundee Road from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Sunday, October 10 at the Buffalo Grove Farmer’s Market at Mike Rylko Park, 951 McHenry Road from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Attendees affected by breast cancer are welcome to sign the decaled squad car hood or leave a message of encouragement.
Suburban Accents in Rolling Meadows designed the custom graphics, which include pink ribbons and the Buffalo Grove Police patch and badge, in pink.
