In an effort to provide the highest quality of water and to comply with Federal and State regulations, the Village requires that all water customers with lawn irrigation systems have installed RPZ type backflow prevention devices.

This device must be tested yearly and this is best done when your irrigation system is started up in the spring. The tests must be performed by a State Certified Inspector who should send the Village a report once the device has been tested.
