Use this form to apply for a burglar and/or fire alarm permit. If residents and businesses experience excessive false alarms, the Crime Prevention Unit will send a letter offering assistance in an attempt to reduce the number of false alarm incidents.

Animal Tags
Pet licenses are required for cats and dogs four months of age or over, within 10 days of acquiring the pet, or within 10 days of becoming a resident of the Village. The cost of the tag is $10 and proof that the animal is inoculated against rabies is required. The tags run the Village's fiscal year, which is May 1 of the present year to April 30 of the following year. There are special restrictions that apply to Rottweilers and Pit Bull Terriers. Block Party Form

The Village of Buffalo Grove encourages Block Parties in residential areas. The Village does not require a permit for block parties. However, we do request that you notify the police department of the event and provide the name of a contact person. Use this form if a Block Party is desired.
