Retired Police Canine Dies

Chief Steven Casstevens regretfully announces that canine Saxon has died.

Canine Saxon was recently retired from service as a result of a cancer diagnosis and surgery to remove a tumor from his spleen.

Village Manager, Dane Bragg, Awarded Outstanding Manager of the Year

Village Manager, Dane Bragg, has been awarded Outstanding Manager of the Year by the Illinois Association of Municipal Management Assistants (IAMMA). Bragg was chosen for the award based on his accomplishments as manager of the Village of Buffalo Grove.

Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band Concert - Saturday, May 2

The Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band Spring Concert, "The Power of Two," is Saturday, May 2 at Adlai E. Stevenson High School.

The concert begins at 7:00 PM and will feature works by Wagner, Rogers & Hammerstein, Tchaikovsky and more. Tickets are $12 at the door, $8 for students or seniors and $11 if purchased online.

Canine Saxon Retires Due to Medical Issues
